Molly Burns

My participation in the Academic Leadership Academy program at Chapin High School has been a great start in my leadership journey.  I have learned multiple ideas about leadership thus far.  Number one, I have learned that if you want respect, it must be earned.  To lead a group a people, a person must be greatly respected.  To earn that respect, you must gain a general liking to the people. Bias can not be shown toward anyone.  Everyone must work together to create one ultimate outcome.  A leader must bring all of these people together.  So it's the respect and inititive of a person that determines their leadership ability.
