Molly Burns
This assignment required me to choose any country in the world and research different aspects of that country's geography. I researched ideas such as site and situation, boundaries, primate cities, culture,etc. Multiple research cites were used to conduct information about my country. Also, in order to succeed on this project, multiple photographs, maps, and charts had to be added to the presentation. This gave more of a visual and a better understanding of the information being provided.

This taught me...
In completing this project, i learned a lot about the geography of France. As obvious as that is, it isn't the main objective that I learned. I learned the most about how important it is to include visuals in any presentations because it helps the understanding of the audience. Creating charts was revealed to be the most helpful item when it came to the audience's understanding of my presentation.
About
I was assigned this project the day before we got out for Thanksgiving break. I was required to take a photo of the food on my plate on Thanksgiving day. I was also assigned to choose one dish off of my plate and investigate all of the ingrediants used to cook it. After finding all of the ingrediants, I had to figure the costs of each individual item. Then basically I was told to find how much it costs to ship all of the inngrediants to where they were the day of Thanksgiving. It involved a lot of math and also research.

This assignment taught me a lot about where different things come from and why they come from those places. I also learned how much things cost and why they cost as much as they do. I also learned how many step by step problems and issues it takes to find the answer to this problem. Putting math and geography together into one project made it difficult to focus yet made it very interesting at the same time. I learned how to control my focus and conduct my research in a smooth way to manage my time.
